Dear Mike and family, I was so sorry to read in the Windsor Star's obituary column that Vera passed away. Please accept my deepest condolences. The last time I saw Vera was a year ago July at Mary Olah's grandson, Richard's wedding shower in Leamington. We had a very nice conversation. After reading that you and Vera were married for 60 years, I cannot help but reminisce about our courting days in 1948-49, and the great fun we all had. You with Vera, Mary with Al, Louis with Violet, George with Helen, and I with Bill. Such happy memories! Unfortunately, one of the spouses from each couple has passed away. We are still blessed to have such wonderful memories through our cildren and grandchildren. I wish you and your family the very best of health and happiness. I would really like to attend Vera's funeral, however I had a stroke last year and am still not driving long distances. With deep sorrow and in sympathy, Helen Mogyorody.
