Two years since you passed to Glory. We your family miss you beyond imagination. Here is a statement for us to comprehend.
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice, "Grieve not for me". Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong, in the Lord. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the light will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry at all. I will miss you all dearly, so hold up your chin.

It is sad to walk the road alone Instead of side by side, But, to all there comes a moment When the ways of life divide. You gave me years of happiness Then came sorrow and tears, when I heard of your passing, to your mansion in the sky. But you left me beautiful memories I treasure through the years. My Dearest Mom, my Best Friend: The miles that separated us could never be overtaken by the special and precious bond that we shared. It is with great sadness to be writing this. Irene was my late mom's first cousin-in-law, married to the late Samuel Stafjer, my mom's first cousin. We referred to Irene as Tetka Irene (auntie). Irene and her husband Sam gave me and my family one of the greatest gifts that I could have ever imagined in my life. They helped my family emigrate to Canada so that we could live a better life, a country of the true, north, strong and free. Emphasis on free when you experience a life where it does not exist. Irene's efforts along with the late Eugene Whelan, made it possible for my family to emigrate to Canada, a gift I will cherish in my heart always, with never ending gratitude. We will miss Tetka Irene but she will never be forgotten. I wish I could be there with my Stafjer family to celebrate Irene's life and to pay my respects. Since it is not possible to be there physically, I am with you with all my heart and spirit. With deepest and heartfelt condolences to my dearest cousins Ann, Emily, Veronica, Helen, Caroline, and their families.

My dearest beloved sister Irene. This is not goodbye but farewell, we shall meet again on that beautiful shore. Many memories of us growing up in Harrow, and a special moment I will not forget when you gave me a toy Dunlop Tow Truck for Christmas, I cherished very much. The Lord has blessed you with a good life, even though there were burdens, you trusted your Heavenly Father to pull you through. You had a wonderful husband Samuel to also provide support, farming, raising the five daughters, house chores, and many other tasks that arose each day. Now, Jesus said, "Well done thou good and faithful Servant, here are the keys to Heaven"
