Dear Starr and Family,
John and I would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of a dear friend, Lion Bill. We enjoyed working with him on so many Lions' projects over the years. He was a true gentleman to all who met him, and we all appreciated his ready smile and cheerfulness. Those of us who were lucky enough to see the twinkle in his eyes - especially when he talked about his beloved wife, Starr and dear family members- will always remember this wonderful, kind man. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies.

My sincerest sympathies to Starr and family.
I came to know Bill while serving together as members of Kingsville Lions Club, where he and Starr served for over 20 years.
Bill wore a smile without fail, and greeted one with the warmest of hugs, often accompanied by a sweet hard candy from his pocket. He was a dedicated Lion who gave freely of his time and effort to help others.
The world has lost a gold-hearted, loving soul.

Dear Starr and family. I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I met you and Bill in Windsor when I worked for Dr. Needham from 1968 to 1975 and again after opening the Copper Kettle in Harrow. The years pass, but pleasant memories of those special people we meet along the way remain in our hearts forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
