KURTZ, James Peter "Jim"
Passed away peacefully surrounded by love on November 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 64 years to Barbara Ann (Gonczy). Loving father of Mary (Thomas) Schmidt, Christina (Brian) Allsop, Ann Kurtz (Gary Giacomelli), Peter (Brenda) Kurtz, Karen Kurtz, Eileen Kurtz (Phil Edmonds). Loving grandpa of Brianne (Chad), Theresa (Ian), Corinne (Alex), Clarice, Drew (Kayla) and Erin and great grandchildren Eberle and Sutton. Dear brother of William (late Linda) Kurtz and Kathryn (Leonard) Fashoway. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Jim was admitted to the Bar in 1958 and was an administrative law judge for the state of Michigan for over 30 years. Jim was a member of the K of C Council #8233 and a very active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Harrow and St. John de Breubeuf Church, Kingsville. Due to Covid-19 restrictions you must RSVP to attend the Funeral Mass at www.geraldasmith.ca. Masks are required to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. John de Brebeuf Church 67 Main St. E. Kingsville.
