My sincere condolences to the Paine family. Paul and I spent many good times together in the 1970's enjoying fine food, wine and music. I will be sending some pictures of those memorable times for the celebration of Paul's life. Paul will be much missed and long remembered. Rest in peace my old friend.

Meera and I offer sincere heartfelt condolences to Diane and the Paine family. I met Paul in the business world as his banker in 1976 where I grew to admire his acumen and knowledge. He became a dear friend with whom we have shared innumerable fine times and created fun memories. One that stands out is a 1984 America's Cup race in Newport, RI where Paul expertly piloted our sailboat several miles out in the ocean to view the race.
We will miss his zest for life, sense of humour, love and concern for his family and friends.

Paul hired me in 1970 without ever meeting me. I worked for him about 15 years and he was a great teacher, a thoughtful and funny man. I learned many things from him as did all of us that worked for him. To all of his family I know that he loved you and was so very proud of you. He will be missed but not forgotten by all that knew him and especially by those that loved him. My sincere condolences to the Paine family.

I first met Paul in grade 9 at Forster Collegiate and reconnected in the real estate business oh so many years ago. Those early years at Buckingham are some of my fondest memories. The friendships we all enjoyed continue to this day.
Along with other crew Paul and I went through a sinking of the Naiad and her subsequent recovery as well as a knockdown off Goderich in a Port Huron to Mackinac race.
Countless times were spent with good wine, food and conversation as well.
You'll be missed my friend.
My deepest condolences to the family.

Our family sends heartfelt condolences to the Paine family. It’s been many years since I last saw Paul, but I will always remember how very kind and courteous he was with me during and after my time as a Salesman at Buckingham.
Sincerely,
Ron Renaud, Amherstburg
