John Coulthard posted a condolence

A significant amount of our lives are spent with the people we work with. Some become a part of our lives, even if we never see them outside of the work place. We get to know them well and they become important and special to us. Paul was that to me.
Paul was an outstanding contributor to Propower Mfg. and his passing leaves us shocked and deeply saddened. When I informed the team that he was gone, it was devastating and we all stood in silent disbelief for a long time. Frank broke the silence and said "He was a great guy".
Paul started working at Propower in 2012 and he learned quickly and became a talented steel welder. Recognizing that Paul had a lot to offer, I promoted him to our steady afternoon shift leader and he was ultimately promoted to the position of Shop Foreman.
As our Shop Foreman, his shoes will never be completely filled again. His diverse knowledge, focus on safety, high quality standards, hard working with a desire to meet a deadline were combined with a personality that can only be described as positively sunny. He enjoyed developing the skills and talents of many of our Associates over the years, always focusing on how to do the job right. I will miss starting each day by sitting down in the chair by his desk and getting the daily update of where we were at so far today. His hand can be seen all over our factory. His fixtures and jigs, his safety signs and messages about how things should be done or not done.
Over the years I have learned that Paul loved to cook, bake, garden, can the harvest, build things and could whip off a sketch of something that had a three dimensional look to it in seconds. He seemed to have a never ending supply of flashlights. Each one more powerful than the one before it and as I told Steve and Kyle when they came to pick up his personal affects, I think he was looking for one that would light up the surface of the moon. He also liked a nice measuring tape and he had an extensive collection of these as well. Paul enjoyed nice tools and that also included his cookware, knives, vacuum sealer or meat tenderizer, all top quality and cared for meticulously.
Some recent unpleasant events in Paul's personal life didn't alter his outlook. I would ask him, everyday, "how's it going today Paul" and he would always reply, "Fantastic". I knew it wasn't always fantastic but he always looked on the bright side and conveyed a positive attitude no matter what.
If I had to choose one word to describe Paul it would be dedicated.
Paul was dedicated to his faith. Dedicated to his wife. Dedicated to his family. Dedicated to his job. Dedicated to the success of Propower. Just an outstanding honest and genuine person who was dedicated to life.
I have many great memories of Paul. He holds a special place in my heart.
Like all of us, I miss him.
John Coulthard (JC)

Thank you so much John. This means everything to me. I am his Sister. I agree on all points. He will be deeply missed. I miss him already. His words were always as if they were 'seasoned with salt'. He was a fantastic Brother, the funny one of the family. Had great times with him. Again thank you for your kind words.

Thank you so much for your kind words and sweet memories of my dad. I am his daughter Jessica and I cried reading your comments. He was indeed dedicated in all he did and he loved working for you! He always had a story about Propower and I was amazed how much effort and care he put into it, going in early, staying late to get the job done. We appreciate your words and thank you for being a part of his life!

Paul was remarkable, talented and a genuinely good person - big time. The qualities and values he held high, show in the upbringing of his own kids. The kindness and love he and Speranca together have given to their family and friends, is what the world needs more of. A true example of a loving and kind person. My sincerest condolences to all our family in this time of loss, may he rest in peace.

Joy, the angels are rejoicing to see Paul come Home.

After suffering follows gladness, endless joy instead of sadness,
anguish,sickness,fear,weeping,sorrow,as one weary,pain,care gloom,fear of death,
its all over.
Now THERE, follows what?
Gladness,Joy,Paradise,Eternal Spring, a Glorious Dawn,The External Life with

Such a talented musician,a joy to be around. Just all around full blown, happy person to be around for me.
I remember when the farm house burned and the new house was being built..he spent time keeping us busy in the RV drawing trucks and tractors. I will always remember what he told me. “First you have to know what it looks like before you can draw it” His talents as a musician/ draftsman/and an engineer will be sorely missed. Love you Paul and I wish you peace and joy in all eternity my dear cousin.
