Passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 44. Beloved wife of Victor Pereira. Loving mother of Evan Pereira and Ryan Pereira. Beloved daughter of Manuel and Maria Ema (Andrade) Carreiro. Much loved daughter-in-law of Domingos and Teresa (Rocha) Pereira. Dear sister of Lenni Carreiro and Bruce Eveland. Cherished aunt and Godmother to Caitlyn Marie Eveland. Dear sister in law of Elizabeth and Brian Yaciuk. Loving aunt to Kristina (Jamie) Clark, Jessica and Brianna Yaciuk. Valerie was a dedicated employee of Hiram Walker (Pernod-Ricard) for more than 10 years, and several more at Allied Domesq prior to that. Valerie was a buyer and a valued member of the procurement team who worked with many. Valerie will be remembered for her kindness and her enthusiastic spirit and will be greatly missed. Masks are required to attend visitation. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Monday, February 28, 2022, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Everone is welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Tuesday March 1, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 120 Munger St. W Harrow. Masks Required. The Mass will be lived streamed and can be watched on Amherstburg/Harrow Catholic Family of Parishes Facebook Page and a recording will be made available on the funeral home website later in the day. A private family Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
