Obituary of John Morris Sellars

SELLARS, J. Morris

January 19, 1962 – April 8, 2022. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 60 years. It is with bittersweet emotions that we say goodbye to a loving and devoted father, papa, brother, uncle and friend. Morris will be missed by those who knew him well, those who have been touched by his caring and generous nature. Morris leaves behind his children Justin and Samantha, his grandchildren Scarlett and Hudson. Dear brother of Maureen (Doug) Wickham, Martha (Martin) Teskey, Matthew (Laura) Sellars, aunts Betty, Margie and Betty-Jo as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. His work "family" at Robinson's Transport and Southern Oaks Ltd. will miss his encouragement and down to earth attitude. Predeceased by his wife Gloria (2016) and his parents Harold (2006) and Helen (2020) Sellars. Visitation at GERALD A. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 197 King St. W. Harrow on Tuesday April 12, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Morris' life will be held at Harrow Baptist Church, 2548 Cty. Rd. 20 E. Harrow on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Forsey officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery Colchester. Donations in Morris' name may be made to Erie Shores Hospice or Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. The family wish to express deepest thanks to the staff of the Cancer Clinic (Met Campus), 4 West (Met Campus) and Erie Shores Hospice who had his best interests at heart as they cared for him with compassion and respect.
