MARONTATE, Gordon Edwin

Passed away Sunday May 8, 2022 at the age of 84. Loving husband of 58 years to Frances Margaret "Frankie" (Kelly). Loving father of Robert Marontate (Tina), Denise Marontate (Larry). Loving grandpa of Conor Marontate. Son of the late Marion (Sinasac) (1981) and Gordon Marontate (2005). Dear brother of Mary Lou (late George) Freeman, Leonard (late Jeanette) Marontate, Carol (late Marvin) Beaudoin, Donald (Karen) Marontate, Doug (Anne) Marontate, Marvin (Linda) Marontate. Dear brother-in-law of Edith (Lynwood) Sinasac, Pat (late Lynwood) Brush, late Sally (Gary) Russelo, Tim (Carol) Kelly, Kathleen (Bob) Jubenville, Colleen (Pete) Reid, Roseanne (Gary) Laramie, John (Elaine) Kelly, Mary Jane (Charlie) Gomes and Tom (Michelle) Kelly,. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Edwin was an electrician for Hiram Walker Distillery for 33& 1/2 years retired in 1999. Edwin was a Third Degree Knight with St. Clement Council #2844 and Francis J. Clarke Harrow Council #5350; he was also a lifetime member with the AMA Sportsmen's Club and a 65 year member of the Harrow Hunt Club. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 120 Munger St. W. Harrow. Interment of ashes at Colchester Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or the charity of your choice.
