OBEREMOK, James

Well known by so many for his "Fill the Pool with Beer Party", 1x world record holder for making the largest hamburger, and highly regarded for countless baseball, pontoon, and fish fry parties - has passed away at the age of 76 on July 4, 2022, at Royal Oak LTC, Kingsville. He leaves behind the many loves of his life – 1st wife Pat Bashura, 2nd wife Nancy Smith Patterson, 3rd wife Wendy Howlett and last but not least - predeceased by Annie Gagnon who selflessly took care and loved him dearly. He is greatly missed by his children Darrin (Kim), Derek (Crissy) and Jenny (John). Dearest Grandpa to Kate-Lynn, Brooke, Mya, McKenzie, Connor, Piper, and Stone. Loved brother of Robert (Sandra), John (Sherry), Junior (Sandy), Sandy Braithwaite Petraitis (Alex), Sharon Parent (Morely). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jim is predeceased by his parents Nick and Anne Obermok, sister Susie, brother-in-laws Bill Yost and Fred Braithwaite, nephews Johnny Obermok, Jamie Yost, and Jason Parent. Jim lived in Windsor and Belle River, ON. Retired from Chrysler on Jan. 31st, 2000. Lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan! He played softball for much of his life. Many a day was spent on his boat perch fishing in Lake St. Clair. He was a generous man who gave us all lots of unforgettable memories. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Royal Oak LTC Kingsville - He loved you all and was incredibly grateful for everything you did for him. Cremation has taken place.
