Obituary of Leroy Clifford Lacey

LACEY, Leroy

August 25, 1934 – July 5, 2022

Reunited with his beloved wife Neota (2000) and son Jeffrey (1968). Treasured father of Lynne and husband Ron, Michael and wife Tammy, Julie and husband Richard. Grandad was a guiding light to nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and their families. A friend to all animals who crossed his path. Leroy leaves behind a legacy of love for all of his family and dear friends. Fondly regarded as “The Mayor,” Leroy shared his many talents, always lent a hand to those around him. He spent many countless hours giving to others; supported his newspaper carriers by developing their work ethic and character in becoming good citizens, taught children to swim in his pool, donated to Canadian Blood Services, and took pride in looking after his community. In his retirement Leroy enjoyed his time with family, countless friends and his afternoons at the Colchester Bar & Grill. Thank you to the Fifth floor CTU for their care and comfort. To the many doctors who provided care and support. The Hospice staff and Bayshore Home Health; especially Alex who compassionately guided our family. To all friends and family who reached out through this time, thank you for your love, we so appreciate it. Cremation has taken place.
