To Bev, Len & Joy, Al & Dianne, Glenn & Pam, and your extended families:
My wife Kathryn and I both adored our Aunt Louise, and will really miss our in-person visits. We always had engaging, meaningful and heartfelt conversations, and she was always so present with us! She lived a full life and will always be an example to all of us of what it means to show God's love to others.

To Bev, Len, Al, Glenn and all of the Extended Block Family,
We are sorry to hear of the passing of your mother - grandmother - great grandmother. Louise was a very special person. She was forever a teacher and a mentor. She was curious - full of inquiry. She would say hello and then ask if you read a certain book. She would say "that was a good sermon - but I have a few questions". She would lay out demands for community and church and all the demands were aimed at bettering this world we live in. She never stopped thinking. Only a week before her illness she was wondering about political improvement and wanted to debate a few ideas. We were lucky to have conversations with her and have her in our lives - and we are not even family, although she seemed to "adopt" a lot of people! We were lucky to be counted in her circle of friends.
You are all so blessed to have had this matriarch in your life and now you will hear her voice and wisdom in a new way. May she live in your hearts forever. God Bless Louise.
Rest In Peace.
Randy & Frieda Lepp

To the Block Family & Extended Family,
Our thoughts & Prayers are with all of you as you mourn the loss of Louise. She was a truly beautiful person who enjoyed family & friends. We always enjoyed visiting and discussing many topics which interested us. Louise was always interested in hearing the other persons point of view, and from there would help bring about understanding and acceptance on the topic being discussed. She was a great lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sincerely,
Ed&Nancy Klassen

We at Thrift On Mill would like to send our heartfelt condolances to Louise's family and friends.
Louise is one of the founding mothers of the former MCC Et Cetera Shop. We have her tales of her tireless work and selfless service to generate revenue for the good work of MCC Ontario. She alongside other fantastic volunteers brought the world of thrift to downtown Leamington before thrift was 'trendy'. This year we celebrated 40 years of thrift in our shop. It is because of the faith and dedication of volunteers like your Louise, that we are what we are today.
God's blessing on you as you celebrate the life of such an amazing woman.

To all our Block cousins
Our deepest condolences at the loss of your mom and our Aunt Lou. I have great memories of the fun and laughs we all shared when your family made the annual pilgrimage out west to visit the family. These were special times and Aunt Lou always was a big part of the fun!!
I think we will make some “Aunt Lou” caramel corn tonight
Love from Stan Danita Nathan and Josh Bennett

I’m sending my deepest condolences to all of you and your families in the loss of your dear mom. I remember her warmth, sense of humour and friendliness while working with her many years ago in the strawberry pick-your-own at Klassen's and also from the church. My mom really appreciated and enjoyed your mom’s friendship, especially in her later years. Lou was a bright light who made a difference in this world.
Thinking of all of you as you celebrate her incredible life!

Louise was my father’s sister who shared his love of adventure and curiosity. She also shared a love for God and a life of faith in Christ that was such an encouragement to me all my life. I will so miss those cheery conversations on the phone and at precious few times together. Blessings with love as you all remember and celebrate her life together.
