We all want to take comfort in one another after the passing of Rick. But it’s important for us to remember that though we grieve, we also should celebrate his life.
Rick was a brother-in-law in name, but really a brother to me. I remember a few years ago when I was doing Karaoke I got him up and he said he would sing as long as I sang with him and we sang Tiptoe through the tulips together. It was quite the moment. He showed me a shortcut to their house from where we live. Instead taking of over an hour it took only 40 minutes. He sure knew the back roads. He was one of the calmest persons you’ll ever meet. These may sound like little things but great memories of Rick. My sincere condolences go to my Sister Betty, and to Rhonda, Chris and all the families and Cheers to Rick for being in our Lives. He deserves a round of Applause. Til we meet again Brother…Love you…Bob and Laura...( Karaoke Bob )

Having been Richard’s cousin on the Dell side of the family for 74 years, I have many stories about his younger years. He was a good cousin to me when I lived in Windsor where he lived at that time. One memory of being with me is when we went to Bob-lo together. Good time. I have a memory of why he decided to use Richard and not Dick as his name to be called by. It is a story that I don’t want to share but it hit me as funny. As an adult, he called me to see if I was home once. I said yes and then he said he was in my drive-way. I live in Sarnia. His extended family will miss him.

We met at St. Clair Campground. Debbie and I were seasonal campers there alongside Rick and Betty. Rick taught us alot about RVing and was so helpful and a true friend. He'll be sorely missed.
