Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 23, 2023 at the age of 57. Loving mother of Brandon. Daughter of the late Joao Sousa Sr. (2014) Alda (de Medeiros) (2022). Loving sister of John Sousa Jr., Zenaida (Leo) Azevedo, Stella (Luca) Mastronardi and Patti Pedro. Loving aunt of Jason, Kyle, Mackenzie, Tiffany (Brandon), Adriana, Connor, Alexis, Logan, Haley and great nieces Ella, Thea and Sofia. Maria worked at Chrysler Canada and was a member of Unifor 444. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Friday, January 27, 2023 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday January 28, 2023 to process to Colchester Memorial Cemetery for a graveside service.
