MEDEIROS, Duarte Claudino

April 19, 1955 - February 13, 2023

Duarte died peacefully surrounded by his family on February 13, 2023 at the age of 67. Duarte was the son of the late Duarte Alexandre and Maria Dos Anjos (Claudino) Medeiros. Duarte is survived by his loving partner, Telma. Proud father to Duarte (Anita) and Bobby (Misty). Cherished brother of Eduarda (Carlos) Teves, Zelia (Manuel) Silva and Maria (Luis 2009) Medeiros. Duarte will be missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews,friends and the Pedrosa family. Duarte came to Canada from the Azores in 1969. He became a skilled machine operator, earning a well-regarded reputation among local construction companies. He retired in 2015. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Thursday February 16, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church 120 Munger St. W. Harrow on Friday February 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Kidney Foundation.
