When I first met Pauline, many years ago, I thought of her as a rather prim and proper lady. And, that assessment wasn't entirely wrong. But, she'd come out with the darndest things when I least expected it and had me choking, spitting coffee all over myself, and dying of laughter more times than I can count. Pauline was 'life smart' and incredibly courageous. She didn't always have it easy but she was never afraid to do what needed to be done - for her family, her friends, and for herself... to follow her heart and start over.
I will miss her so much. I missed her yesterday - it was my birthday and no matter what, Pauline would call. To her family: You have suffered a loss beyond words... but you had been given a gift like no other. My heart aches for you. My thoughts are with you. Much love to you all.
