I was lucky to have worked with Helen starting in 1982 at Met Hospital . She was the best head nurse she supported her staff , she was a good friend to all her staff and she was a strong advocate to all the patients on her unit at all times .She was well respected by doctors, she was funny yet professional at all times and was a mentor to so many young nurses. I loved working with Helen she spoke so often of her family my deepest condolences in the loss of beautiful Helen I will never forget her Anne-Marie Herlehy

Dear Jim & Doreen & Mathew Your mother was such a deep caring lady. Had chats with her in Mom’s restaurant & also your Dad. She was so proud of you and Doreen as she referred to her as her daughter too. Well as a grandma I seen her one day she said “ my reason for living. I had the pleasure of having Helen for a head nurse in the mid 80s on Telemetry @ Met Hospital .She was fair.friendly.very knowledgeable and very much respected by her nursing family..She had a great sense of humour and her nursing staff loved her..May she Rest In Peace...

My condolences to all of you. I worked with Helen in the Sunday School and at Vacation Bible School at Christ Church. She was loving and caring with the children, especially in the nursery.
