Deepest sympathies to you Rose and Morley and your family. I have to say that it was the best when Calvin was driving the tractor when I was riding on the back planting tomatoes because his rows were the straightest, his speed was the steadiest, and he didn't put up with any nonsense. I think there was a mutual appreciation of being outside on a nice spring day. He was a good friend, a loving son and a loving brother/brother-in-law. I loved talking to him about his dog and other things. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Calvin’s passing. He was a great asset to the farm crew at the Research Station and his pleasant attitude about doing a good job was appreciated. After his retirement, he often stopped for a chat when we would meet. I will miss these conversations. My condolences to all the family.

Calvin was the first person I met from the farm crew when I started work at AAFC Harrow. He saw me out working by myself and he stopped his tractor and had a chat with me, welcoming me as a new employee. I always remembered this gesture, and I enjoyed working alongside him.
