November 3, 1934- November 30, 2023

Our hero passed away at Erie Shores Hospice at 89 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia (Green) (2002). Loving and caring dad of Douglas (Claudette) Dufour, Diane (David) Simpson. Predeceased by his grandson Stephen Dufour (2011). Kindhearted grandpa of Richard Simpson, Debbie Simpson and Rebecca (John) Wipperman . Great grandpa of William Dufour. Predeceased by his siblings Virginia Atherton, Jane Sinasac (late Leonard), Joe (Eleanor), Ron (Nina). Survived by his brother James. Gord retired from Bell Canada with over 34 years of service as a linesman. A special thank you to his homecare nurse Kim & RPN Emily and the wonderful staff at Erie Shores Hospice. As per Gord's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment at Iler Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to Erie Shores Hospice.
