Great memories of Tab at the fishing derbies throughout the years with our kids. Tab was a kind and generous person and we are so lucky to have known him. He helped us with many things around our home being such a handy man that he was and we are forever grateful. Thinking of all his loved ones during this time, especially Martha.

Dear Marty,
There are truly are no words to express the sadness we are feeling with Tab no longer with us. We had some amazing times camping. And in recent years the fun we have had going to different places for our winery/cidery/brewery/distillery tours are memories we will always have. Marty, we are deeply saddened to learn of Tab's passing away. Tab was the guy Beth and I turned to whenever we had a project or repair that needed to be done at our summer cottage. Tab and I (Marty) crawled into our cottage's crawlspace more times than I care to remember to fix a leaky pipe or two. The last time we did so, this past summer, we looked at each other and silently acknowledged that we were both getting too old for this, even though I was twenty years his senior.
Tab was always friendly and helpful, always fast with a smile, a model we should all emulate. We will miss him, as will you, your family and all his friends.

Gone too soon.
When I thought of Tab the first thing that popped into my mind was that no matter the weather he could always get a roaring fire going. We had many of Tab's fires to warm us on our yearly camping trips and many good conversations. This is what I will miss.
Take care Martha and I hope to see you at our next camping event. Not sure who's going to get the fire going as my darling wife would point out I am absolutely useless at starting a fire, but as long as we are all together we'll figure something out.
