Our sincere condolences to the Affleck Family. We have been away and just noticed Ed's passing. I had met Ed years ago as a child when my grandfather Stan Makepeace introduced us. Stan lived with Orion and Vi when working in the Harrow area years ago. I believe they met thru a snow storm and grandpa stayed with them. Ed and I met later in life at a horse shoe in Woodstock and then again at Road to the Horse in Tennessee. We ended up sitting close by each other there. Lovely man. You all have wonderful memories cherish them.

Judy,
So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I feel like he watched me 'grow up' in the horse show pen. He was always a good person, full of stories that made me laugh. I am still so thankful for the generous gift he gave to me of allowing me to ride Latte when I was going through a rough patch. Ed was always willing to give a friend a helping hand. A good man that will not be forgotten. My sincere condolences to Judy and Ed's children and grandchildren.

Sending our sincerest condolences to his family during this difficult time .
I remember as a child visiting with my grandmother Gladys Simpson the farm in Harrow and enjoying the animals and stories from Aunt Vi and Uncle Orion .
My mom Ruth Robinson suffers with Alzheimers but would want you all to know that she sends her condolences to you all as well .She still keeps in contact with Marilyn through telephone and greeting cards .
May you find comfort knowing the Eddy is now pain free and was able to live out his dreams .

For so many years we have enjoyed his stories and his wit, whether it was by just walking by the house or meeting on the road when his tractor or truck went by. I am sorry to hear the news of Ed's passing. My sincere condolences to Judy and the entire family. I had the pleasure of knowing Ed for many years showing horses at OQHA and Mid-West shows. We competed against each other and held many conversations on just about everything. Ed was a wonderful Horseman who loved horses and everything about the lifestyle of living within the Horse world.
