To Yo and Lisa and your families. I am so sorry for your loss. Gladys was a wonderful mother to all of us in the neighborhood. We put her through so much grief with all of our shenanigans and i don't know how she did it but she was always so patient and kind to us. I will always remember her smile, her laugh and how she dressed to the 9's even when she was just working around the house. She was a wonderful and beautiful lady and may she rest in peace.

It is difficult when one of the old neighbourhood moms or dads passes...as they all influenced us as younger persons. Many, like Gladys, continued to do so throughout the rest of our lives. Gladys set a standard...always dressed to the nines, manicured, and made up... and looking gorgeous. She managed to maintain that beautiful image until the end of her days. A wonderful classy lady...who will be missed.
