Mrs Anderson (as I knew her) was my grade 1 teacher and I remember her fondly. My father also taught at Malden and I often was at school early or after school with him. Joanne was always so kind and such a wonderful teacher and a blessing. My sincere condolences to the family.

Joanne has been a long time member of The Retired Women Teachers of Ontario, Windsor-Essex Branch. She attended our activities when she could. In June 2023 she attended the 80+ Tea wearing her white fascinator to engage and enjoy the sisterhood. She was always gracious and welcoming in her interactions.
