Obituary of Julia Balog

BALOG, Julia (Szakacs) 91 years, December 28, 2014. Loving wife of 69 years to Joseph Balog. Beloved mother of Ann and Jack Pretli, LaSalle, Joseph and Diane Balog, Ancaster. Dear grandmother of Rick, Randy, Rob (Shannon), Stephanie (Dan) and Adam. Loving great Nagy mama of Natasia (John), Erin, Kaitlyn, Nicholas and Amelia. Dear sister of Kay Goldman. Predeceased by her sisters, Ann Armstrong, Mary Szakacs, Susie Balog and brother Joe Szakacs. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Friday January 2, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. A service to Celebrate Julia's life will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015 where family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Monika Bereczki-Farkas officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery.
