Obituary of Camille Csikasz

88 years, November 22, 2015. Camille was born to Frederick and Hazel (Goodchild) Pearman, and loving wife of Steve for 72 years. Beloved mother to Margaret (Gerald) Coté, Carol Ann (2007) (Alex) Slobodnick, Billy Csikasz (1961), Lois (Lynwood) Martin, Cindy Csikasz, Jeffrey (Laurene) Csikasz, Kenneth Csikasz. Loving grandma to 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Dear sister to Charles (2009) (Maxine 1994), Beverly Dufour (late Albert 2012), Lillian (Donald) Renaud, John (Ellen) and Joseph (1988) (Francine) (Emile Chauvin). Late Mary Finn (late Francis), Betty Crepp (late John), Gene (Alice) Chikaz. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Camille moved several times during her lifetime but never very far from her family which was the love of her life. Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion 157 Ladies Auxiliary Amherstburg. Camille loved listening to music, playing the keyboard and guitar, board games, cards, camping, travelling, cooking and baking, especially her signature butter tarts and laughing and having fun with family and friends. She helped raise and nuture all of her grandchildren. Camille touched the lives of many with her smile and generosity. Visitation at GERALD A. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 197 King St. W. Harrow on Thursday November 26, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Camille’s life will be held on Friday November 27, 2015 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jon Forbes officiating. Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Amherstburg. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, ALS Society (Lou Gehrig’s) or WRCC.
