HARRIS, Sally Patricia (Ashdown)
The worlds loss is heavens gain. Sally passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side after being an inspirational warrior in her battle, Born in Cardiff Wales. Loving mother of Scott (Andrea) Anita (Duarte) and Lee will be greatly missed by special friend Ed Maciorowski, Cherished Grannie of Stevie Harris, Brenden, Preston, and Makenna Medeiros. Dear daughter of Jim (deceased) and Kay Ashdown, Sister to Susan (Alan) Hodkinson, David and Kathryn Ashdown, Peter and Barbara Ashdown, who all live in Britain, she will be sadly missed by many Nieces and Nephews, Friend and confidant of Roger for 47 years. Sally was a Hairdresser owning salons in both Amherstburg and Harrow, Her many, many wonderful friends and clients will remember her for her gentle spirit, loving nature, heartfelt kindness, her sense of humour and her crazy HATS. She was a great inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Sally's love for nature could only be suppressed by her love for Family. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten, our time together will never be over, you are in our hearts. At Sally's request her ashes will be placed at locations she loved. A celebration of her life will take place at Camoes Portuguese Club, 390 Sinasac Ave W, Harrow, on Sunday September 1st, 2013, from 4- 8 p.m. Service at 7:00 pm. A special thank you to Linda Walsh for your support of Sally and driving her to her many appointments. Thank you also to Dr. Hamm and the Staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and Hospice for their compassion and care, In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Windsor Essex 6038 Empress St. Windsor, ON N8T 1B5, would be really and truly appreciated in Sally's name.
