Obituary of Michael Crerar

Life Legacy CRERAR, Michael “Micky” On May 17, 2016. With his family by his side and with heavy hearts we said good-bye to the most wonderful husband and father who was 71 years young. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years Perri and precious daughter Natalie. Predeceased by his adored mother Rosemary Haynes and siblings Glynn Crerar and Doreen Orange. Dear brother-in-law to Caroline Crerar and Paddi and Gerald McDonough. Treasured uncle/great uncle to many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to cherished friends Will Croucher and Jeremy Dougall for always being there. Michael immigrated to Montreal, Canada from England in 1966 through his employer Rolls Royce. He then moved to Windsor where he worked in the tool and dye industry for a few years. Searching for more excitement he was the lead singer for the rock band Britian’s Black Sheep. He worked at Windsor Raceway for 27 years and Home Depot for 7 years before retiring. Michael was devoted to his family and will always be remembered for his optimism and love of life. He had the most wonderful sense of humour and was always telling jokes and making people smile. His laugh was contagious and he was so warm and caring to everyone that he met. He was the ultimate Boston Bruins fan and John Lennon advocate. He definitely surpassed his nine lives. At his request cremation and interment have already taken place.
