RICHARDSON, Elsie Corinne (Martin) After a very long life we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elsie Corinne Richardson (Martin) on June 30, 2016 at the age of 96 years. She is predeceased by her husband L. Murray Richardson, February 27, 1991. Mother was born December 21, 1919 and lived most of her life in the former Twp. of Colchester South. Mourning her loss is her son Leslie and wife Jean, Ottawa and their children Donald (Louisa), Jennifer (Jay), Patricia (Tony). Also left to mourn is her daughter Maureen and husband William (Bill) Borland, Harrow and their children Richard, Michael (Maria), Rosemary (Carl). Our mother delighted in her great-grandchildren Jordyn, Elsie, Grace, Owen, Cameron, Alida, William, Chantal, Emma, Elisa, Murray, Carly and Clifford. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Corinne (Palen) Martin, brothers Keith (late Faye), Douglas and brother-in-law Leonard Richardson (late Ruth). Survived by her sister-in-law Lenore Martin and many nieces and nephews. She was a 75 year member of the O.E.S., a Past District Deputy Grand Matron and a life member of Erie Chapter No. 19. She devoted her life to her family, home and beloved church, St. Alban’s. We wish to thank the staff at Season’s Retirement Home, Amherstburg for the care and compassion shown to our mother and to the Palliative Care Nurses 8th floor, Hotel Dieu Hospital. A service to celebrate Elsie’s life will take place at Christ Church 190 Bagot St. Colchester, on Monday July 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jon Forbes officiating. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m with an Eastern Star service at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Erie Cemetery.
