84 years, peacefully after a courageous battle on April 25, 2012. Late of Kingsville. Long time partner of the late George Ducharme (2011). Predeceased by her husband Norman Dawes (1982). Beloved mother of Norm and Alfreda Dawes, White River, Kirk and Cathy Dawes, Chatham, Jim Dawes and June Brown, Kingsville. Loving grandma of Sandy, Stacey, Christina, Lisa, Cherie, Kimberly, Douglas, Jimmy, Brian, Matthew, Jodie, Jamie, Mark and 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Ann Anguish. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Ken, Joe, Frank and sisters Edna, Doris, Florence, Rosina, Marjorie and Glenna. Gladys was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moose Lodge and Navy Club. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visiting Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Gladys life will be held on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Sharon Grainger officiating.
