Obituary of Thomas Cox

COX, Thomas Eric 85 years. September 19, 2013. Beloved husband of Marguerite (Meloche-Laporte). Predeceased by his first wife Patricia (1989). Loving dad of Arlene and John Welzel, Michael and Colleen Cox, Harrow. Loving granddad of Tanya (Jayson) Dupuis, James (Stephanie) Wade, Courtney, Patrick and Troy Cox and great grandchildren Brandon, Ryan, Kaden, Jackson and Elza. Also remembered by his step children Debbie, Ronald, Jerome, Kenny, Annette and their families. Dear brother of the (late Tony) and Pat Cox. Dear uncle of Julie Cox, Lee (Morag) Cox and Phoebe Cox. Tom served in the Royal British Army, retired as a tool maker at Chrysler Canada in 1995 with 30 years of service, a member of CAW Local 444, Harrow RCLB #338. Tom loved the outdoors, travelling, camping, hunting, fishing and darts. Memorial visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. RCLB #338 service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home Monday September 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
