Obituary of Barbara Ridsdale

64 years. Passed away Sunday May 8, 2011, peacefully at home surrounded with love. Beloved wife and best friend of 43 years to Mark Ridsdale. Loving mom of Robin and Jennifer Ridsdale, Harrow, Jennifer and Rusty Kelly, Amherstburg, Christine and Jamie Ouellette, Harrow. Loving grandma of Adrian, Adam and Aaron Ridsdale, Trent, Griffin and Morgan Kelly, Marisa and Sadie Ouellette. Dear sister of Bill Paul and Lonna Arnold, Harrow, David and Carol Paul, Corunna. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George Paul (1967) and Jean Straith-Paul (nee Gourlay) (2004). Barb had a genuine gift of loving family (especially her grandchildren) and friends; she will be sadly missed by all those whom she touched. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Barbs life will be held at Christ Church 45 Bagot St. Colchester on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Christine Downey officiating. Interment of ashes at Christ Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by check to the Canadian Cancer Society or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
