Obituary of Walter Scott

95 years. Passed away April 15, 2010 late of Harrow. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Evelyn (Wright) (2003). Beloved father of Sandra and Jeff McKee, Harrow. Predeceased by his daughter Linda McLean, (1972) and his parents Walter (1962) and Ellen (Storey) (1979). Dear grandpa of Scott and Dana McKee, Jason and Laura McKee and Heather McKee. Dear great grandpa of Alexandra, Heath and Nathan McKee, Abigail, Olivia and Drew Hartness. Dear brother of Harold and Ann Scott, Harrow, Gwen and Dick Sterling P.E.I. Dear brother-in-law of Jeannette, Mrs. Vic Brown, Shirley, Mrs. Louis Brenner and the late Helen, Mrs. Charles Butler (2008). Special friend of Louise James. Walter was born in Ottawa and moved to Harrow as a teenager. He was employed at the Harrow Research Station for many years. He was also an active member of the Harrow Rotary Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #338, Harrow and Christ Church Colchester. Walter served in the Canadian Air Force as a radar technician during WWII. He retired 40 years ago and spent his time perfecting his yard on County Road 20 or hitting a tennis ball with anyone who could swing a racquet. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. R.C.L.B. #338 Service on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Walter's life will be held Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Colchester, 45 Bagot St. Colchester Village with Rev.
