To the Grandchildren of Doreen: I worked in the accounting office at Harrowood from 1994 to 2001, and Doreen was one of my most favourite residents. She acted so young for her age. She never exhibited the old people's disease, that is, finding a lot to complain about. (not meant to be mean, just honest) I loved her story of the time her husband called and she was getting a bath, and when she rushed to get the phone, fell and slid across the kitchen floor. I think he asked her what took her so long to answer the phone, and she let him know how she was busy sliding across the kitchen floor on her bare ass. I loved this lady - she was a delight and I offer my sympathy to all of you on the loss of your matriarch. Sincerely Judy Wirch
