Obituary of George Ducharme

82 years. Our father passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on April 16, 2011. Beloved husband of Gladys (Dawes) and the late Jeanne (Antaya) (1976). Beloved father of Charlene and Doug Babcock, Claudette and Brian Suominen, Windsor and step children Norm and Alfreda Dawes, White River, Kirk and Cathy Dawes, Chatham, Jim Dawes and June Brown, Kingsville. Loving grandpa of Allison, Lindsey, Justin, Bradley, Ashley, great granddaughter Faith Rose and 13 step grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Cyril (Geraldine), Jerry (June), Madeleine (Brady), Eugene, Pat (Rocheleau), Helen (Dufour), Agnes (Girard), Marlene (Adam), Isaac (Sylvia), Rose Marie (Smith) and Mary (Baker). Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. George was a longstanding member of the R.C.L.B. #12, the Navy Club and Moose Lodge in Windsor. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Amherstburg.
