My thoughts and prayers are with you, Shannon, Shelly, and Sherilyn, and your respective families. I'm sorry I couldn't be there, and I love you all. I can still hear Shawnda's laughter, so I guess that's quite a good memory/legacy to leave...

my deepest sympathy and prayers to all of Shawnda's family at this time. I will truly miss Shawnda and in all our talks while working together her love of her family was number one. A woman with a beautiful heart and sense of humour. I only knew her for a brief time but she certainly enriched my life.

To this day, I think of Shawnda every time I use one of her favorite sayings "It's all good!" We shared some fun lunches, shopping trips and ice cream breaks when she worked at Schoolcraft College, and she always had great stories about her nieces and family to share. She loved all of you very much. Shawnda was a bright, beautiful, capable woman and she will always have a place in my heart.

Dear Shelley and family: Life is not measured in hours and minutes but in the love you leave behind. Although Shawnda's life was short I'm sure she touched many with her love and kindness. May your family find comfort in knowing how much you loved her. May God's love surround you always.
