93 years. Passed away March 28, 2008 at the Sun Parlor Home, Leamington. Formerly of Harrow. Predeceased by her husband Hugh V. Meek (1986). Loving mum of William and Anita Meek, Kingston, Nancy McGivney and Donald Woodhouse, Phoenix, AZ., Sally and Jim Soliere, Phoenix, AZ. Loving omie of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruth Butler, Hamilton. Predeceased by her sister Rita Dymock and brother George Norris. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Ruby was a Past Noble Grand, Chaplain and a 50 year member of the Thistle Rebekah Lodge #194 in Harrow. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Tuesday April 1, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thistle Rebekah Lodge #194 Service Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. A service to celebrate Rubys life will be held Wednesday April 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Harrow United Church with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment at Gillies Cemetery, West Lorne. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
