Joyce and family, I was sorry to learn of Dr. Habowsky's passing. He was a stong minded and kind hearted character, who took much pride in his contributions to the skills of teaching in higher education, and so he should. He would always take time to be helpful. I had actually thought about Dr. Habowsky recently as I was biking to work, although it as been many years since I took his photo, jotted down points from an interview or just exchanged pleasantries in the locker room at the St. Denis Centre. I do not recall all the professors I knew 20 years ago, but Joe is and will continue to be memorable for all the best reasons.
