Obituary of Samuel Stajfer

75 years, born in Hlozany, Yugoslavia. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday February 5, 2011. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband of 55 years to Irene (Gruin). Cherished father of Ann Rose and husband Edwin Denzinger, La Salle, Emily Stajfer, Harrow, Veronica and husband Terry Boleratz, Andover, OH, Helen and husband Vincent Klomp, Harrow, Caroline and husband Robert Kuffner, Ottawa. Loving Apko of Peter, Erika and Katie Denzinger, Samuel, Ondray, Carl, Mila and Katrina Klomp. Predeceased by his father John Stajfer (1991) and his mother Anna (nee Miklovic) (1992). Dear brother of John and wife Susie Stajfer, Harrow, Anna Stajfer, Toronto, Andrew Stajfer, Toronto. Dear brother-in-law of Michael and wife Kathee Topolovich, Fort St. John, BC. Special uncle of Susan, Anna, Elizabeth Stajfer, Mary Reimer and Rosie Turner. Also remembered by many cousins, aunts and extended family in the former Yugoslavia. Sam retired from Ford Motor Company in 1994 with over 30 years of service. Sam enjoyed his family, friends and especially his grandchildren, during his retirement Sam was an avid fisherman. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Monday, February 7, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Clergy of the Apostolic Christian Church officiating.
