Obituary of Dan Marontate

In his 59th year on April 28, 2010. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, son and brother. Beloved husband of Jill (Makepeace). Caring father to his precious daughters Tara, Tracey and son-in-law Scot. Biggest sports fan to his grandson Jacob. Doting grandpa to his granddaughter Madison. Loving son of Wilda (Deneau) and the late Austin (1993) Marontate. Dear brother of Linda and Frank Mayea. Predeceased by his mother-in-law Bette Makepeace (2007) and father-in-law George Makepeace (2009). Dear brother-in-law of the late Karen (2006) and Gary Lacey, Sue and Jim Wigle, Kevin Makepeace, Gaye and Brian McGee. Special nephew and loving care giver of Eva Deneau. Dan will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Dan was a dedicated meat cutter for Zehrs, Kingsville for 31 years, until he retired in July 2009. Visitation Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish and K of C prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Saturday May 1, 2010 where family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 45 Munger St. W. Harrow for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Rick Janisse officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to Hospice Residential Home.
