Obituary of Leonard Robinson

67 years. March 4, 2010, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of 43 years to Cecile (Devaney). Loving dad of Sian Lepain and friend Tom Loxton, Mark and Mary Anne Robinson, Vivienne and Brian Wood. Loving grand dad and "daddo" of Christopher, Christian, Nicholas, Noah, Lauren and Ben. Predeceased by his parents Leslie Robinson and Joyce Cowing and sisters Joy and Tina. Leonard served as a Second Engineer in the Merchant Navy in England and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #157 Amherstburg. He retired after 16 years of service as a First Class Marine Mechanical Engineer with the M.C.C.R. of Ontario. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church 317 Ramsey St. in Amherstburg on Wednesday March 10, 2010 with visiting from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Strang officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #157 Amherstburg Educational Bursary Fund. Leonard will be sadly missed by his family, his memory will be forever in our hearts. He is now a shining star in the sky, watching down over his grandchildren forever more.
