So sorry to hear about Cookie's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I worked with Cookie at Hotel Dieu Hospital for a short time. She was a wonderful person as well as a wonderful nurse. She will be sorely missed. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Dale and family, I saw you at the funeral home and my heart was broken. I can only imagine how sad you must be to lose your soulmate. Cookie and I worked together on 6 west and she followed me to OPD dept. I was honoured to see a picture of me and Cookie on the beautiful collage of pictures. On behalf of OPD we have collected donations and we would like to purchase a garden bench or something along those lines. I will keep you posted. With deepest sympathy from Linda Stropkovics.

Dale and family,my sincere condolences to you. Cookie was a great friend, a wonderful nurse and just a terrific person. When we would do shift together on 6 west, there was always stress but the laughs overcame the tiredness and frustration of work. Her compassion was never ending and the love she had for her family would just shine on her face. My heart is heavy for her but every time I think about her, a smile crosses my face from just a story that pops into my head. God bless you and watch over you during this time of sadness..

Dale and family, Just want you to know how wonderful Liz was to me. It was January 2000 and I was in hospital to have a mastectomy. I was changed, and waiting in a waiting room for my surgery with people who had their coats and boots on. I was so cold and Liz saw me, she did not know me well, but said that I should not have to be there. She put me in a room with a recliner chair and got a warm blanket for me. I will never forget her kindness to me.
