I was saddened to read about Mr. Motruk today in the paper. I am very sorry for your loss. I don't normally do this type of thing but I wanted to share with you that I am one of the hundreds of former students that he had a huge impact on. I graduated from Vincent Massey in 1988. During that time I was heavily involved in sports and Mr. Motruk always was our number one supporter. He was not only a great administrator encouraging us in our educational career but he also took an active role in supporting our sports teams. He would often stop by at our practices or cheer us on at our games. He made an impact on me as he was very supportive of female sports and I never thanked him for that. He was a very special principal and will be missed by many as he has touched so many of us during his life. Thank you and God Bless your family.

Jack and I send our sympathies to Mrs (Grama) Motruck, children and grandchildren and family. We feel very saddened by Mr. Motruck's passing. I was priveledged to have spent a lovely visit with Mr. Motruck recently (Devon's Birthday party-September 26/09). Cheerfulness and joy and positiveity abounded as we sat outside chatting and watching the children running and playing. He will be greatly missed. Love, Jack and Yne
