Obituary of Jay Richardson

86 years. Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 25, 2009. Late of LaSalle, formerly of Harrow. Cherished husband of 60 years to Jean (Cook). Beloved father of Kevin and Joyce Richardson, North York, Kathie and John Lamont, Windsor, Kendall and Paula Richardson, St. Thomas. Dear grandpa of Jay, Neil, Alyssa, Tasha, Bela and Halle. Dear brother of Lorraine Ouellette, Essex, Herbert and Betty Richardson, Windsor and Wilfred Richardson, Amherstburg. Predeceased by his brothers Allan, Ross and Fred. Jay retired as a Research Technician at the Harrow Research Station in 1984 with 35 years of service and served in active duty overseas in WWII. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Friday March 27, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Jays life will be held Saturday March 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harrow Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Todd officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Harrow Baptist Church or the Gideons.
