my condolences to the family.......Harry's token line" I've had a hard day", always made me chuckle as everyone in this small town enjoyed his banter from any downtown location.Growing up with his son Jim,whose nickname was "harry" was a definate honor.

Dear Margrethe and family We will miss Harry. We always enjoyed his stories about his history both in the Church and in his work life. Harry often called Linda the "flying nurse" so we will remember his good sense of humour as well. May our Lord bless you all at this time of loss.

I would like to express my deapest sympathy to the Scherer Family and expecially to Margrethe. I remember when Harry brought you to your first Reunion at Erie Beach. He was so proud to have a good loving wife. Harry has inspired many with his wisdom and love for family and the Gospel Story. He will be missed but we all are better for the knowing of him. Heaven is now a richer place. sincerely, Bonnie Bailey

Uncle Harry will be missed for many reasons but the image that will stand out for me and my children is him sitting on the edge of the water. His memory will be there each time we swim at Erie Beach.

Dear Scherer family, Harry will be remembered as an energetic, smiling individual who always had a sweet word to say. He obviously had a zest for life - that was evident in his desire to live life to its fullest. He was so very kind and we admire him for being so young at such an amazing age. Rest in Peace, Mr. Scherer - you were one of the special ones! The Goulet Family
