Obituary of Audrey Rogers

91 years. February 2, 2011 peacefully at home with her loving family at her side. Late of Colchester. Born April 14, 1919 in Big River, Saskatchewan, Audrey came to Windsor in 1920. Loving wife of 71 years to W. Glen Rogers. Adorable mom of Alan (Deb), Ron (Carolyn). Loving grandma of Kim (Scott), Dave (Nicole), Casandra and Magnus. Loving great grandma of Nicholas, Taryn, Victoria and Carson. Sister-in-law of Grace Mugford. Predeceased by her parents John Ellis Crombie and Gertrude Hillis. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon, John and sisters Olive, Kathleen and Grace. Audrey was a member of the Church of the Ascension, Windsor, joined Friends of Canterbury, the Air Force Club of Windsor and was a member of the Ascension Bridge Club. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Audreys life will be held Saturday February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at funeral home with Archdeacon Ronald Matthewman and Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Canadian Diabetes or the CNIB.
