73 years. Passed away May 2, 2009. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband and best friend of 58 years to Jack Meharg. Loving mom of Pamela and Ken Bews, Chuck and Lynn Meharg, La Salle, Mary Jo Silva and Ken Hunt, Harrow, Jacki and Mike Allen, Amherstburg. Predeceased by her daughter Mary Katherine. Loving nanny of 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Predeceased by her brother Bill. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Monday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Phyllis life will be held Tuesday May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
