Obituary of Mark Johnson

It is with great sorrow that after a long and brave battle with cancer, we announce the passing of a loving son, brother and uncle on October 5, 2011 in his 47thyear. Late of Harrow. Loving son of the late Richard Wayne Johnson (1971), Betty Jane Sharp (nee Pouget) and husband Oliver Sharp, Leamington. Beloved brother of Rick Johnson (Dodi), Sarnia, Chris Johnson, Kingsville, Cathy Hazael (Brian), Belmont, Jeff Johnson, Abbottsford, BC. Fondly remembered by his step-sisters Marcia Dobson (Dave), Marla Ward (Brian), Maria Kovacs (Les), Mary Dick (Larry), Margaret Kennedy (Chris) and Marion Goyette (Alan). Dear uncle of Lauren, Daryl, Gillian, Alexa, Melissa, Matthew, Amanda and many other step nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Johnson-Sharp family would like to extend their appreciation to Leamington Hospital 2nd floor East and South, Doctors, Nurses and staff for their care, patience and love shown to our dear son and brother. Losing Mark has been a long, difficult journey. Our family has witnessed firsthand the devastation of cancer, not only its terrible effects on the human being but also on the family who loves and cares for the person suffering. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Colchester Memorial Cemetery where Mark will be laid to rest beside his father.
