Helen M. Peter was such a wonderful, caring, kind, and cherished Aunt. I remember all her baked goods and cabbage rolls she brought to so many family gatherings. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She had such a warm heart and she surrounded all the hearts of the people around her. She was talking to her sister Margaret(my grandmother) and was looking forward to another bacon roast this summer, which has been a family tradition for many years. I remember having bacon roasts at Catherine and Joe's house for many years and they were such a great treat for all of us to get together around the fire. This summer we will have another one but this year we know that Aunt Helen will be with us and sharing in the joys of being with the family and being all together once again. I will always remember the look on her face when I went to visit her, she was so happy to see anyone that she loved. We all know that Helen would do anything for those she loved and for that I am very thinkful to have her in my life. We will miss her dearly, and someday we will meet again and share memories with her when it's time to meet our maker.
