87 years. Passed away August 15, 2008 at Leamington Nursing Home, formerly of Kingsville and Harrow. Predeceased by his wife Margaret H. (Hosie) (2002). Loving father of Jay and Francine Thomas, Ottawa, Wayne and Gail Thomas, Belle River, Nancy Thomas, Kingsville. Dear grandfather of Vanessa, Cindy and Kriste. Dear great grandfather of Dawson. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy, Mrs. James Pearson, Windsor, Mary, Mrs. Jack McCrea, Taylor, MI., Shirley, Mrs. Ron McNamara, Windsor, Joan, Mrs. Gerry Hillman, Windsor. Predeceased by his brother Sydney Thomas, brother-in-law William Hosie and sisters-in-law Nancy Hosie and Isabel Hewbank. Jack was a member of St. Albans Anglican Church, Malden, Christ Church Colchester, I.O.O.F. #309 Lodge, Harrow and a longtime member of the Kingsville Golf and Country Club. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Monday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Jacks life will be held Tuesday August 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Christine Downey officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Colchester. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or Hospice Windsor Essex.
