Obituary of Lillian Fox

92 years. Passed away July 2, 2008. Late of Hamilton, formerly of Harrow. Born in Leicester, England in 1916 daughter of the late John and Ethel Harding. Member of Alpha Kai Omega Sorority, Windsor. Predeceased by her husband Hazen Fox (1957). Loving mother of Eric and Susan Fox, Cambridge, Barbara and Tony Wallace, Hamilton, Marilyn and Tony Sadowski, Lisle, IL. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Jennifer Wallace, James and Rachel Wallace, Paul and Sandra Sadowski, Loving great grandma of Vanessa and Ayden. Predeceased by her brothers Charles (1997) and John (2001). Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. When Lillians husband passed away in 1957 she took over the entire farm, worked with the help of her nephew the late Mervyn Fox, who lived at the next farm. All helped on the farm until the girls left for their careers. When Eric married and left as well, she rented the land out and turned the house into a Bed and Breakfast, which she enjoyed for three years until she had to have heart surgery. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Monday July 7, 2008 at St. Andrews Anglican Church 210 King St. E. Harrow to celebrate Lillians life at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Christine Downey officiating. Interment at Erie Cemetery, Colchester.
